To succeed in this role, you'll need
- Current knowledge of the latest 18th Edition BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations and experience of electrical maintenance, distribution systems, and installation requirements.
- Experience working with instrumentation, inverters, control systems, and electrical safety procedures is important, as is the ability to wear specialist PPE and work within controlled environments where radiation, EMF, and other site-specific requirements may apply.
Desirable experience and qualifications include:
- A completed electrical apprenticeship and recognised technical qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of PLCs and programmable equipment and ventilation systems with the ability to support fault finding and system improvements.
- IOSH Working Safely qualification or a strong understanding of safe working practices in industrial environments.
- Experience carrying out maintenance activities within a nuclear, engineering, manufacturing, process, or similarly regulated industry.
