Site Services Contract Manager 12 Months FTC
Have you been searching for a role where you can truly influence how critical services are delivered on a complex and highly regulated site? Do you thrive in an environment where every decision contributes to safety, performance, and long‑term value? This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of major service contracts and shape the way they support the wider site strategy.
As our Contract Manager, you’ll be the central point connecting project teams, engineering, infrastructure and service providers ensuring that work is planned intelligently, delivered safely and aligned with the needs of a busy operational environment. You’ll bring together the moving parts, challenge the status quo, and make sure every contract performs at its best.
What will you be doing
In this pivotal role, you’ll coordinate the delivery of multiple site-based service contracts, ensuring that activities are planned efficiently and aligned with wider operational priorities. You’ll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to make sure work scopes are clear, well-administered and delivered to the highest standards. Your ability to communicate, influence and bring structure to complex workloads will be essential.
You’ll also be a key guardian of performance analysing financial, commercial and compliance data to ensure value for money and contractual clarity. Whether it’s supporting maintenance planning, addressing contract changes or driving continuous improvement, you’ll help ensure our framework contractors deliver consistently safe and compliant services.
Key areas you’ll lead on include:
- Coordinating all site-based service contractors to ensure seamless, well-planned delivery.
- Managing supplier communication, loss control, systems and contract administration processes.
- Reviewing financial, commercial and performance data to support pre‑ and post‑contract activities.
- Ensuring all compliance, defect and maintenance tasks are delivered effectively and on schedule.
Who are we looking for
You’ll be someone who brings both technical understanding and strong organisational instinct, capable of managing complex service delivery while building effective relationships across a large and multi‑disciplinary site. You’ll have a solid background in contract management and an appreciation for how large industrial or highly regulated environments operate. Above all, you’ll bring confidence, clarity and a collaborative approach to managing contractors and internal stakeholders.
You’ll hold an HNC/D (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and have hands‑on experience using NEC3/NEC4 contracts and associated systems such as CEMAR. Experience with maintenance or FM activities, CAFM/CMMS systems and safety‑related environments will also be beneficial, along with strong planning and communication skills that enable you to manage scope, changes and expectations with ease.
Additional strengths that would help you thrive in this role:
- Knowledge of maintenance/FM planning and operations, ideally within regulated industries.
- Familiarity with performance management frameworks and reporting tools.
- IOSH Managing Safely or APMP qualifications, or equivalent experience.
- The ability to collaborate confidently with suppliers, engineers, planners and project teams.
