Key Deliverables: 

As a Radiological Clerk, you will predominantly support the site Radiological Protection Team, maintaining Site Dosimetry Services to support controlled access to radiological areas.  You will also provide flexibility through the provision of high-quality administrative support to other site EHSS&Q functions when required, including Security Vetting and Access, and Document Management and Control.

Responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining record systems and processes associated with issue, return and control of dosimetry, including the production of routine and non-routine dose reports and graphics as required
• Ensuring all requirements for site and Controlled Area entry are in place
• Accurately updating and maintaining databases and access control systems
• Providing administrative support to the Pre‑employment screening process
• Processing of access paperwork, including processing of new and renewal site pass and dosimetry applications
• Responding to customer and client queries, resolving issues within your level of experience and competence.
• Maintaining efficient filing and retrieval systems
• Supporting continuous improvement of administrative systems and processes

Qualifications:

• Educated to NQF level 2 / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification (Essential)
• A computer literacy qualification (Desirable)

 Experience:

• Experience delivering a broad range of administrative support activities (Essential)
• Working knowledge of databases / IT Office systems (Desirable)

• The equivalent of 25 days (185 hours per year) annual leave plus Public Holidays (59.2 hours per year). This increases by 2 days (14.8 hours per year) annual leave after two full calendar years of service (as at 5th January in the leave year) , and an additional 3 days (22.2 hours per year) annual leave after five full calendar years of service (as at 5th January in the leave year). You also have the option to buy or sell the equivalent of 5 days (37 hours) annual leave each year (available in specific windows for the following holiday year). For the purpose of assessing an employee’s annual leave entitlement, a day means seven and two fifths (7.4) hours. A pro rata entitlement will apply for part time workers.
