Clerical Support / Document Controller

Are you a natural organiser with good attention to detail? Do you enjoy working to specific instructions in a unique, safety‑critical environment? Do you enjoy working with people and being part of a team?  If so, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to provide vital administrative support to one of our functional departments. You will be at the centre of daily operations, supporting functional safety, compliance, and delivery in a team environment. You will be working closely with your team, visitors, and various departments on site. If you take pride in being dependable, efficient, and collaborative, you will feel right at home here.

This is a role with variety, visibility, and the chance to sharpen your skills while making a real contribution to our work.

What will you be doing

You will provide high‑quality administrative support and help keep essential systems accurate, up to date and fully aligned with Site and Company requirements. You will also be a key contact point for visitors and Contractor staff.

Your responsibilities will be varied, covering the day-to-day organisation of all administration tasks. You will support routine meetings to keep everyone aligned and informed. You will also support both routine and non‑routine reporting, and help keep our reporting systems accurate, up to date and fully aligned with site requirements. You will be heavily involved in database and spreadsheets, management systems, records systems, visitor access systems, and other administrative systems used for Site based and corporate activities.

A flexible approach is necessary to provide support to the different work streams, and you will play an active role in improving administrative systems and processes, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and full compliance with HSEQ standards.

Who are we looking for

We are seeking someone organised, dependable with a positive approach to customer interaction who is confident working in a busy environment. You will bring strong administrative experience with solid skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with a proactive attitude and the ability to communicate clearly while focussing on detailed repetitive work. A good educational foundation, A‑Level or equivalent, and a willingness to develop within a highly regulated setting are essential. Experience working within a technical function such as engineering, finance or safety is beneficial but not required if you can adapt quickly and work effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
